Olney Park Little Kids Place is a family-owned daycare in Falls Church, VA that offers high-quality child care. Program
Her home daycare is open year-round between 7:30 am to 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday. She can provide full-time care for infants (newborns), as well as toddlers through preschoolers up to 5 years old. This child care home is part of the USDA Food Program and serves nutritious breakfast, lunch and 2 snacks in between (included in the tuition). The facility has bright foam mats, wall decor, and a learning curriculum prominently displayed. An library of books awaits infants and toddlers, fostering a stimulating and enriching atmosphere.
Curriculum
This child care provider believes that children learn through play and thus, she uses the Play-based learning philosophy. The daycare has a backyard and playground where children can enjoy outdoor play (weather permitting). Some of the activities in the daily schedule for children include story time, age-appropriate educational activities, free play, nap time, etc. She also prioritizes discipline and introduces numbers, shapes, and letters while ensuring a daily creative project for the children. In addition to English, the caregiver can also speak Hindi to her little students, upon parents' request.
Safety
In light of current circumstances, COVID procedures include regular sanitization and handwashing for the children throughout the day. During naps, highchairs and toys are meticulously cleaned, and diaper stations are sanitized with gloves, bleach, and water. Due to possible allergies, the facility is peanut-free and tree-nut free.

We LOVE her! We’ve been going for a year now and she is so loving. Our son reaches for her each day when we arrive and has never cried to be dropped off. She has built a great community of little friends that are adorable and greet each other and say goodbye. She provides routine and healthy breakfast, snacks and lunch. Happy to recommend her to any family.

My daughter has been attending this daycare for several months now and we could not be happier. The caretaker is so kind and caring and my daughter absolutely lights up every morning when we arrive. We receive pictures and updates during the day and feel so comfortable knowing she is in great hands. The facilities are great and I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for an in-home daycare!

Both of my boys have gone to this daycare and they love it! Even though my eldest is now in preschool, he tells me how much he loves and misses the provider. This provider is one of the most emphatic, caring, and loving woman to care for children. This daycare is absolutely stellar. My son goes 5 days a week and I couldn’t be more confident in his care. This provider is amazing with the children and loves them as they were her own! If my son can not be with me or his mother, there is no one I trust more!

My son is getting cared by this provider since he was 6 months. I was very scared to let him go at the beginning, but this provider made it very easy for me through her care and dedication for my little one. The provider and her daycare were fabulous. Each day she provided my daughter with super healthy food and a written report of what occurred that day. She also helped to get my daughter off of the pacifier and to potty train her (which were both not easy tasks!) I really appreciated everything she did for my daughter and would highly recommend her to others.

My baby loves this provider. She is attentive and caring. After one week there, my two month old smiled at her as soon as we arrived in the morning. I feel so much better about him being in daycare now that I know he is happy and comfortable.

We actually just left this provider about a month ago and I was heart broken. My son Theo misses her so much and calls her name(my son calls her Mamu it means Mama in Nepali) all the time! We went to visit for a day recently and he just felt so comfortable with her and immediately went to his toys and started playing! This family daycare was a big part of my childrens’ early development. My children excelled under her tutelage and care. It is scary to send your precious child off to a stranger at such a young age, but very quickly, this provider became family. I am so thankful for the years we had with her.
