Welcome to Timber Lane Children's Corner, my small family child care program in Falls Church, VA. We’re located near Timber Lane Elementary School, in the Donna Lee Gardens neighborhood. We're right off Lee Hwy (route 29) and your daily commute to work will be convenient since we have easy access to the I-495 and I-66.
Please contact our daycare to schedule a visit and get your registration fee waived.
About Us:
I’m the owner and main caregiver of this facility, and I have 15 years of child care and early childhood education experience. I’m a mom of five children, so I have plenty of first-hand experience with my own kids. My assistant, who has a decade of experience, complements our team's expertise, ensuring that every child receives personalized attention.
Our daycare is a safe place where your child's well-being and growth are our top priorities. We make sure that each child in our care is happy and thriving by creating a nurturing and engaging environment tailored to their individual needs and interests.
Program:
Timber Lane Children's Corner is open all year-round from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. We offer full-time and drop-in care for infants as young as 1 month, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old. Tree-nut free snacks and lunch are already included in the tuition and provided to all kids attending our program.
We can also accommodate school-age kids up to 12 years old and offer before and after school care (our daycare is close to Timber Lane Elementary School).

The owner and her assistant were fantastic caregivers to our son from ages six months to approximately 1.5 years. They provided home cooked meals for lunch, were responsive to any inquiries, and maintained a small, intimate setting that allowed them to focus on the few children in the class, all of whom were young enough to need direct supervision. We always felt safe and accommodated. Highly recommend.

My child started going to this child care facility when she was 6 weeks old until she was ready for Pre-k at age 3. The owner is a very kind and great care-giver, provides a fun atmosphere to stimulate play and interaction with other kiddos, and taught dual languages. We were lucky to find her, and recommend her to families looking for help caring for kids.

The owner and her daughter took care of our daughter from 4 months to 3 years, and they were great. We love this daycare. My daughter was with this caregiver from 8 to 15 months old. Prior to this daycare, our daughter was at a more formal, expensive daycare facility that had a good student to teacher ratio, but she really struggled there. My son started with this daycare when he was just 7 months old and stayed until he was 2. We only left because we were moving out of town. He absolutely thrived there! He was always happy to see her in the morning and happy when we picked him up. She taught him so many songs, the ABCs and even how to count. We were so pleased with how well taken care of and loved he was. We miss her!
