Welcome to Dawson Farm Children's Corner, a licensed home daycare and preschool in Germantown, MD! We’re conveniently located near Dawson Farm Road, with easy access to Father Hurley Boulevard and Germantown Road (MD-118), making drop-off and pick-up simple for commuting parents!

Program:

Our program is open year-round, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We offer full-time care for infants starting at just 1 month old, as well full-time and part-time care for toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old. We also welcome children with special needs. Healthy, nutritious snacks are provided daily and included in your tuition.

About Me:

Hello Parents! I’m the proud owner and lead caregiver at Dawson Farm Children's Corner. With over 11 years of hands-on experience, I’m passionate about creating a loving, stimulating environment where children feel safe and supported. I’m also a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), with experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum (ASD).

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and am certified in CPR, First Aid, and MAT. In addition to English, I speak Farsi, Urdu, Dari, and Persian. If you’d like your child exposed to another language and culture, I’m happy to incorporate it upon request.

As both an educator and a mother, I dreamed of building a space where children could feel at home while exploring the world around them. That’s how Dawson Farm Children's Corner came to life! Watching children grow, build friendships, and reach new milestones is the most rewarding part of my work. I’m honored to share those moments with every family I serve.

Daily Schedule:

Our daily routine offers a balance of learning, movement, creativity, and play. A typical day includes:

• Morning Circle: Songs, weather, calendar, and story time to promote language and social skills.
• Themed Learning: Hands-on lessons covering topics like animals, seasons, and community helpers.
• Creative Arts: Open-ended projects that spark imagination and develop fine motor skills.
• Outdoor Play: Daily fresh air fun with nature walks, group games, and physical activity.
• Music & Movement: Singing, dancing, and rhythm games to build coordination and self-expression.
• Sensory Exploration: Activities like water play and sensory bins to inspire curiosity.
• Life Skills: Practical tasks that teach independence and responsibility.
• Story & Rest Time: A quiet story followed by nap time to help children recharge.
• Afternoon Play: Social play with puzzles, pretend games, and group activities to strengthen emotional and social development.
