Dear parents, thank you for considering Germantown Estates Playhouse, my licensed daycare and preschool program in Germantown, MD. Here, your little one will feel like they’re part of an extended family, and you can rest easy knowing they’re in a warm, nurturing environment where they’ll be loved and cared for!

At Germantown Estates Playhouse, we understand that every family has different needs. That’s why we offer both full-time and part-time care options to fit your schedule. Our doors are open from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday, and we welcome children from 6 weeks up to 5 years old.

I’m the owner and main caregiver, and I have 14 years of experience working with children of all ages, from infants toddlers and preschoolers. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, which has given me a strong understanding of child development and the importance of fostering a supportive, nurturing environment. I'm also certified in C.P.R. and First Aid, as well as MAT trained, so you can feel confident that your child’s safety is always my top priority. In addition to English, I speak Farsi (Persian), and I can introduce this different language and culture to your child, if you’d like. I believe that children thrive when they feel secure and understood, and that’s exactly what I aim to provide for each child who comes through my door.

Here at Germantown Estates Playhouse, I follow a play-based learning philosophy because I believe children learn best when they’re having fun! Every day is filled with activities that help develop their brains and bodies in a playful, natural way. I love to join in on the fun, as I’m an active person who enjoys spending time both outdoors and indoors with the kids. Some of the activities we enjoy include Puzzles and Brain Games to turn our students into little problem-solvers. We love Baking and Cooking to get those tiny hands busy (and enjoy some tasty treats), as well as Singing and Dancing! Outdoor time at the community playground, where we can go for a quick walk or jog and get plenty of fresh air and exercise.

Located in the Germantown Estates neighborhood, near Kingsview Middle School, we’re conveniently close to the intersection of Clopper Rd and Germantown Rd, making drop-offs and pick-ups a breeze for working families. We are a peanut-free and tree nut-free facility, so you can have peace of mind if your child has food allergies or sensitivities. I also provide healthy snacks throughout the day to keep those little tummies happy and full of energy. When it comes to the safety of the environment, I’ve made sure that my home daycare is a safe, welcoming place for children.

As a parent, I know how important it is to find a child care facility where your little one will feel comfortable, safe, and happy. With our small group size, your child will get the one-on-one attention they need to flourish. Our home-like environment also helps make the transition easier for children, especially infants and toddlers, who may struggle with larger, more impersonal daycare settings.
