D Nartey Nurturing Daycare opened up in March of 2012. This is a S.T.E.M focused family daycare business based in Hagerstown, MD. The owner/provider is Dawn Nartey who has worked with children for twenty plus years and her daughter Jasmine Key who is an Office Manager/Co-provider and has worked with children for over ten years. We truly love kids and enjoy teaching them daily. Our mission is to make sure your child(ren) receive the educational background needed before entering school, help kids who are already having trouble in subject areas and to ensure the safety of your child(ren) while they are having fun. We are open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and cares for children as young as six weeks through 12 years old. D Nartey Nurturing Daycare helps children become ready for pre-school, helping children with homework in all subject areas and offering Spanish as a second language. I'll start by saying this is more of a glimpse into our experience with this Daycare provider rather than a review. The 2 stars were for the organization and layout/schedule of activities and lessons, and the providers were respectful. As a side note, make sure you read every inch of the contract for the large amount of closings and personal days. We had our 7 month old enrolled here for about 3 months. I absolutely love this provider for my son. The provide is warm and nurturing. I loved that she is educational based. When my son got to pre-k his teacher was highly impressed with his ability to read and write and all the letters/sounds and counting up to 50 because of everything he had learned in daycare from them teaching him. Hands down Dawn is an excellent provider in every way. I highly recommend Ms. Dawn.

This daycare is beyond exceptional. When I first walked into the daycare it felt right. There was a calmness and a comfort level that allowed me to asked all the questions I wanted. All my questions were answered so professionally while at the same Ms Dawn watched Kayleigh so Keenly as she played and familiarized herself with the daycare.
