Greenvale Kids Playhouse offers nurturing, year-round child care from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. We welcome children from infants (3 months) to preschoolers (5 years old), with both full-time and part-time care options available. Nutritious meals are included in tuition and are prepared in a tree-nut and peanut-free environment to ensure your child’s safety. I’m the owner and primary caregiver, with over 11 years of experience in early childhood education and a Child Development Associate (CDA) degree. My background includes working as an assistant teacher at a local daycare center and raising my own children. I am CPR, First Aid, and MAT certified, providing parents with peace of mind knowing their child is in safe and capable hands. I founded this daycare out of a deep love for early childhood development and a desire to serve families in my community. Over the years, I’ve learned how to nurture curiosity, emotional growth, and confidence in young children. My goal is to create a warm, home-away-from-home where your child can grow, thrive, and feel truly cared for.

Our daily schedule follows each child’s natural rhythm, balancing structured learning with creative play. We offer a play-based curriculum that includes reading, writing, story time, music, movement, and outdoor play: all designed to support early literacy, communication, and physical development. We also provide a language-rich environment that honors diversity and promotes early bilingual learning. In addition to English, I speak Amharic, and can introduce a second language upon request.
