There are so many reasons why I decided to open my own daycare, but what I really like the most is building strong relationships with children. Working kids allows you to form strong and meaningful relationships with them. We get to become a trusted figure, providing a safe and nurturing environment where they feel comfortable, and supported. I’m a licensed and experienced child care provider and I own this intimate in-home daycare program. Like you, I’m also a parent, a mom to 1 child, so I have first-hand experience with my own kid. I understand how difficult it is for you to leave your child to someone else’s care while you’re away working. At my daycare, all kids are loved and treated as if they were my own.

Schrom Hills Kids Playhouse is a Play-base early learning program that allows kids to learn through play. My curriculum consists of circle time, as well as teaching letters, shapes, and colors. Children also have outside activities and water games when the weather is nice. I offer fun extra-curricular activities, such as dancing and singing. In addition to English, I also speak Amharic and if you want, I can teach your little one this foreign language (however, my daycare is not a bilingual program). My daycare is open all year-round from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Mondays to Fridays. I offer full-time and part-time care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age between the age of 3 months and 12 years old. All kids attending my program are provided with peanut and tree-nut free snacks, which are already included in the tuition.
