About
Welcome to CAMP WIGGLEWAMA Home Daycare! Your child will be in an enchanting storybook-like setting with a lovely fenced-in backyard. There is a large picture window in the main play area where your child can watch the plethora of neighbors walking their dogs. Most are “doodles”, and that is why our neighborhood is often called “doodleville.”
Our toys and learning materials were lovingly chosen to foster fun, creativity and a thirst for learning. All toys and materials are non-toxic. Most toys are made of wood, open-ended, and none are battery operated.
Some of the activities we do are circle time, story time, outdoor play, sensory bin activity, games, open-ended play, music time, arts and crafts, learning the alphabet, numbers, shapes, colors, etc., and learning to work together.
Lunch and snacks will be provided. All food will be organic. Most lunches will be home-made.
As an experienced provider I believe the first four years of a child’s life are the most important. This is when children develop trust, empathy, kindness, a thirst for learning, and a spirit of adventure. My goal is to encourage and support these qualities and help prepare them to smoothly transition to a school setting.
About myself: I am the owner and provider of CAMP WIGGLEWAMMA Daycare. I have 15 years of experience as a state-licensed home daycare provider, where I was fully certified in CPR and first aid. I also worked as a youth counselor on a military base. After an extended break, I am starting up my home daycare again. This time I have decided to limit enrollment to no more than four children in care at one time. As a result, your child will receive an abundance of attention and nurturing.
Note from CareLuLu: Please note this child care program has a Voluntary Registration, it is not State Licensed. States have different licensing regulations, but in general, a State license requires child care providers to meet more stringent requirements (for instance, more frequent unannounced inspections, background checks, more training, etc.) Voluntarily registered programs are typically not required to be licensed, but voluntarily meet certain requirements which may be less stringent than a State licensed facility (for instance, they may not undergo unannounced inspections, or not as frequently, they may have different training requirements, etc.)
Disclaimer: the licensing status was checked when this listing was created. We do our best to keep information up-to-date, but cannot guarantee that it is. You should verify the license/permit/registration status before enrolling in any child care program.
