Since opening our doors in 1975, the Los Angeles Trade-Technical College Child Development Center has continued to provide a high quality child care program for preschool children. The program is designed to provide free or low cost child care to eligible parents who attend classes, job training, and/or work. The CDC complies with Title 22 licensing regulations and follows the terms and conditions of Title V State Preschool and General Child Care programs established by the California Department of Education. Children receive a free breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner funded by the Child and Adult Care Food Program.
The Child Development Center believes that the best way to serve children and families is to provide a supportive partnership. We believe that a warm and nurturing atmoshpere is the best environment for both children and adults to learn and grow. Our focus is to provide developmentally appropriate activities for children and to provide opportunities for parents to enhance their parenting skills.
