The Jeffrey Foundation is a non-profit organization that strives to improve the quality of life for special needs children and their families through the development of community-based therapeutic, recreational, educational, and social programs. In order to do this, we provide direct care to special needs children including educational, creative, and recreational activities that foster the children's academic, social, and behavioral development to prepare them for every stage of life. Time spent in these programs benefits the family as well. Some of the special needs children we serve suffer from diseases such as muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, Down's syndrome, and autism. Others are the victims of abuse, crippling accidents, sight, speech, and hearing impediments or in utero drug exposure. No matter what the challenge a child faces, the Jeffrey Foundation is dedicated to helping all children to reach their highest potential, supporting the development of a healthy family environment, and helping parents cope with the constant strain of caring for a special needs child.
