Plaza’s educational goal is to cultivate a foundation of knowledge, skills and life-long learning by empowering our children, families and communities. Our program provides comprehensive early childhood development services with special emphasis on promoting school readiness in the areas of language and literacy, cognitive development, science, mathematics, social-emotional and physical skills development. Plaza de la Raza is a non-profit organization providing high-quality early education and comprehensive developmental services for children ages 0 – 5 years old and pregnant women from low income families. For over 35 years, Plaza de la Raza has helped improve the quality of life for the most vulnerable families in Los Angeles County. Plaza de la Raza is dedicated to breaking the cycles of inter-generational poverty by ensuring children have the skills to succeed in school and empowering parents to advocate for themselves and their children. We take pride in equipping our families with the necessary tools that will assist them in the years to come. Plaza de la Raza has been committed to improving the lives of children and families in Los Angeles County.
