At Page Learning Academy, we embrace discovery and innovation, inspiring our "young scholars" to take risks and engage in intrinsic play that promotes self-discovery. Our Approach Creative Curriculum is a "child centered" curriculum. A "child centered" curriculum is developed from the children's experiences and is enhanced by teachers and instructional staff. The Academy utilizes this hands-on approach. Children are given choices as to which activities they wish to participate and are provided a variety of materials to manipulate. It is through children's "play" that active learning occurs. As active learners, children investigate, explore, and use problem- solving skills. It is through this interaction that they learn to interpret their world and life experiences. Research shows children who are exposed to materials in an active learning environment retain more of the information. This retention promotes Kindergarten Readiness.
