Lavalette International Montessori Institute is a year-round center in Mission, TX. We are open from 7:30am until 6:00pm and care for children as young as 12 months through 6 years old, including children with special needs. We offer preschool, as well as, both full time and part time child care. We also have summer camp, as well as before and after school care for children up to 6 years old. We provide snacks and offer a peanut and tree-nut free environment. Lavalette International Montessori Institute is a Spanish immersion program. We use a Montessori curriculum. My daughter and my 3 sons love Lavalette Montessori, the doors are always open for me as a parent to come in and check on my kids anytime. The curriculum is really complete and let the kids to explore and learn without pressure, they help them to be independent and safe confident kids.

We want to make it clear that this is not a review based on the services of this facility, but on how they handled a situation that we and many others felt was mishandled. We don't believe that a facility should be entitled to decide what is a minor vs. major incident when it comes to children, which in this case they thought this incident was MINOR.
