Our interdisciplinary thematic curriculum borrows liberaly from Steiner, Montessori, Malaguzzi, Dewey, and Garner with the aim of reaching each child's mode of absorbing and processing the Spanish language and the cultures of the Spanish speaking world.
Our building follows Reggio Emilia thought in that children's school should be a continuation of their home.
Our teachers and teacher assistants are native speakers. Our teaching staff and administrative staff have passed State-required background checks. Our teaching staff and administrative staff have First Aid, CPR, and AED Certification.

We've been with AIS for about a year and a half now, and we absolutely love it. The teachers are warm, loving, and truly care. My kid's Spanish is now flawless. There's a strong community and lots of fun activities, including performances by the children. The director, Lupe, is professional and welcoming, and the curriculum is solid.

Wonderful, warm environment. Teachers are well-trained in curriculum and safety. Staff is always available to discuss concerns/questions. Small building, but they made it work!
