Preparation for Kindergarten – Lighthouse Academy At The Shores uses a curriculum called Frog Street Press in order to prepare children for Kindergarten. Frog Street is a fun, energetic program that allows children to learn through song, interactive books, and themed worksheets. Our Young 4’s and PreKindergarten classes both offer optional supported curriculum homework. The homework is one extra step to get our children ready for “big kid” school! Easy Access To Nature – Research shows that children who interact with nature on a daily basis have a positive impact socially, psychologically, academics, and physical health. Our 3 acres of shaded, rustic, age-appropriate playgrounds offer just that!
