Avenues Preschool, Salt Lake City

Avenues Preschool is a licensed child care center in Salt Lake City, UT. We are a medium-sized center. Our teachers all have their CDA's or are working towards getting their CDA. They do go through intense training to know how to help children learn in a fun safe environment. Our philosophy of early childhood education is based on The Reggio Emilia Approach. The Reggio Approach views the child as strong, resourceful and curious being capable of constructing his/her own learning, the teacher is there to facilitate the learning. The curriculum is based on the children's interests so that they are excited to learn. We believe strongly that learning should be fun and hands on.
