Rita George Family Child Care is a year-round home-based daycare in Silver Spring, MD. Our family child care program is run by Rita George who has 25 years of child care experience. We are open from 8:00am until 5:30pm and care for children as young as 3 months through 2 years old, including children with special needs. We offer preschool, as well as, both full time and part time child care, including drop in care. We also have before and after school care for children up to 2 years old. We are so grateful for Rita and the care she's provided to our two kids over the last four years. They absolutely adore her and their faces light up when greeting her every morning. My daughter has been going to Rita’s since she was 4 months old and I’ve always been impressed with how Rita truly loves these kids. I have another one on the way and will be sending them to Rita’s. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for an extremely caring and experienced daycare provider!

Rita is extremely caring. All the kids love her, and she has a calming presence with them. Our son had never been away from us, and he has quickly adjusted to being with Rita. She keeps them busy and gives attention to each child's development and interests. She is patient and willing to adapt to the parents' and child's needs. We couldn’t be happier with Mrs. Rita! I used to work as a nanny and when we met Mrs. Rita the first time I could tell she was good with kids, and I was very impressed with her. She is so good with all ages and you can just tell she loves the kids. She is also very flexible and accommodating which we really appreciate.

Rita and her husband Vincent are incredibly kind. They create an environment that feels like home. Our daughter was with them until she was 18 mo and developed beautifully. She was always happy to go and Rita has a special gift with babies.
