Welcome to Springbrook Villa Kids Playhouse, where your child’s well-being and development are our priorities. We’re nestled in the Springbrook Villa neighborhood, right off Jackson Rd and close to Martin Luther Recreation Park. Your daily commute to work will be convenient since we have easy access to major roads, such as New Hampshire Ave (route 650) and Columbia Pike (US-29).

I'm the proud owner of this licensed home-based daycare and preschool, and I bring over two decades of invaluable experience. Just like you, I'm a parent myself, fully understanding the importance of a safe and nurturing learning environment for your child. Our daycare's mission is to ensure the safety, happiness, and growth of the children in our care, truly making it an extension of your family.

Our daycare is conveniently open year-round, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. We offer both full-time and part-time care for infants as young as 2 months old, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old. As part of our commitment to your child's well-being, we provide nutritious snacks for all attending children, and these snacks are included in the tuition fee. It's important to mention that our daycare is a peanut and tree-nut free environment to ensure the safety of children with allergies. At Springbrook Villa Kids Playhouse, we follow the play-based teaching philosophy as we firmly believe in the power of play to stimulate creativity, curiosity, and social skills. Our program goes above and beyond, offering engaging extra-curricular activities like dancing and singing. In addition to English, I am proficient in Tigrinya, and upon your request, I can introduce your child to this foreign language (please note that our daycare is not a bilingual program).

Our warm and inviting daycare is located in a single-family house, offering a dedicated child care space that's on the ground level to allow for a brighter environment. Our child care area is a spacious room divided into various stations. This setup allows children to explore and engage in a variety of activities, enhancing their learning and social development. Additionally, we have a private backyard space where your child can enjoy outdoor playtime and fresh air.
