I am the owner/operator of William Tyler Page Daycare, located near the William Tyler Page Elementary School in Silver Spring. Our home-based child care program is open year-round from 7am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Our main goal is to foster independence and healthy development. We tailor our services to each child and respond to their individual needs. Play is used as a means for children to explore their environment. The first year of the childs life is very precious and significant. We not only want to be present but also meet every need during each stage of their development. Our goal is to ensure that all children have a great day where they are learning and playing, while making new friends. Learning is best accomplished in a place where children are emotionally secure, physically safe, and fun! Our program has been approved by the MSDE. We are looking forward to promoting appropriate development and strongly preparing children for the next stage of their academic life.

Daily Activities

- Arts and Crafts - Science/Math - Music and Movement - Dramatics, Cooking - Small Group Activities - Story Time - Indoor/Outdoor Play - Manipulative Activities We also have many teacher directed activities such as singing, stories, movement and other outdoor activities as another part of our curriculum.

Food Program

I am a member of a state funded nutrition program. The children will be served breakfast, lunch and a nutritional snack. We will have a nutrition education program so children can learn about making correct food choices at an early age.

Staff

We are a professionally trained staff with First Aid and CPR certifications. Our staff undergoes ongoing training in addition to my own 12 years of experience working at St. Camillius Catholic School, and 4 years of experience as a home-based child care provider. Full time childcare is offered in addition to caring for children with special needs.

Our now 6 year old daughter went here when she was a baby. I was so nervous dropping her off for the first time at 8 months old, but she put me at ease right away! She’s so calm and great with kids. My 3 year old son is there full time now, and LOVES it! When we had to keep him home one time after a recent surgery, he cried when we told him he couldn’t go to daycare. It is the best feeling in the world to know that your child is safe and happy.

We love having a safe and loving place to drop our son off during the work week. This provider and her family love our little boy like he is one of their own! My son started at the daycare when he was 3 months old and then the pandemic hit two weeks later. I was very nervous about leaving my daughter at only 4 months but she has been there for almost 10 months now and loves it. She is always happy to be dropped off and they are always happy to see her. It was very clear from day 1 that this is a very loving provider. She treats all of the children like they are family. I appreciate that she is always willing to listen to our concerns and requests. Our son seems very happy here, and I love the art projects he comes with for every holiday.

This provider is very loving, and our son loves to be at daycare. This provider is very communicative and always listens when we have special instructions. Even though our son is only a few months old, she still does special activities with him for holidays, such as making finger paintings etc.

As first time parents, we were obviously nervous about finding the right daycare facility for our baby. The provider and her team are amazing! My daughter just started going here and she loves it! I love that she is in a learning environment. They do arts and crafts weekly and send them home with the kids! I would definitely recommend this daycare!

We can't recommend this daycare facility highly enough. This provider has been a godsend. She met our daughter at only 8 weeks old. We were two exhausted and anxious first-time parents trying to calm a cranky newborn during our daycare tour. She picked our baby up and burped her gently. She was talking care my son Justin when he was 2 1/2 , she was the most sweetest person in the world, I love her , now my son is 13 years old and she was a very important person in Justin's life, thank you to this provider , for your love and dedication
