Our cozy program is tucked inside the Fairland Farms neighborhood, just off Old Columbia Pike and Miles Road. We're minutes from Columbia Pike (US 29) and Fairland Elementary School. Fairland Farms Playhouse is open year-round, Monday–Friday, 6:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m. We offer: - Full-time & part-time care for infants as young as 6 weeks, toddlers and preschoolers. - Flexible drop-in care for families with changing schedules and occasional needs. - Daily nutritious, peanut- and tree-nut-free snacks included in tuition.

Hi parents! I'm the owner and lead caregiver at Fairland Farms Playhouse. I’ve worked with children for nearly 20 years in a licensed learning center, and I previously ran my own home daycare here in Silver Spring. I’m also certified in CPR and First Aid. After raising my own children (who now have families of their own), I missed the joy and energy that little ones bring to a home. I’ve always believed that the same care and love we give to our children can be extended to others. That belief inspired me to reopen my daycare and create a nurturing space where young children can thrive. It’s a true privilege to support families during these early years, and I look forward to meeting yours!

Our curriculum is rooted in play-based learning, which supports children's development in a joyful, age-appropriate way. Through guided play, group projects, hands-on play, and everyday social interactions, we focus on building essential socio-emotional skills and we nurture curiosity, cooperation, as well as early literacy. These early experiences are the foundation for future success in reading, writing, and lifelong learning. In addition to English, I speak Urdu and Arabic and am happy to introduce your child to words and songs from another language or culture upon request. (Please note: this is not a bilingual program.) When the weather is nice, children enjoy safe outdoor play in our fenced backyard!
