Rippling Brook Kiddie Cove offers a Spanish and Portuguese language immersion program for children from birth to 12 years old. We are open year-round, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, and provide full-time care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children. A healthy, nut-free lunch and afternoon snack are included in tuition and served daily in a peanut- and tree nut–free environment, supporting children with food allergies. Transportation can be arranged upon request, though it is not included in tuition. We also partner with parents to support potty training, working at your child’s pace and aligning with your family’s preferences.

Hello parents! I’m the owner and lead caregiver of Rippling Brook Kiddie Cove. I’m a mother, an entrepreneur, and hold a degree in Early Childhood Education. I am also certified in CPR and First Aid. With over 17 years of hands-on child care experience, I opened this program to combine my passion for early childhood development with a nurturing home-based setting. I take pride in offering a warm, family-like environment where your child will feel safe, valued, and part of a close-knit community. My approach is child-centered and child-directed, encouraging independence, choice, and exploration. I look forward to welcoming your family!

As a native of Brazil, I designed our program as a Spanish and Portuguese bilingual immersion daycare, blending language learning with play-based activities. This fun, engaging approach helps children naturally develop bilingual skills while building social and cognitive foundations. Rippling Brook Kiddie Cove participates in Maryland EXCELS and holds a Level 3 quality rating, a reflection of our commitment to high standards in early education. We also accept Child Care Scholarship (CCS) vouchers, making our program more accessible to families in Montgomery County seeking high-quality, affordable daycare and preschool options.

Each day begins with breakfast and morning routines, followed by free play to spark creativity and social interaction. Later, children participate in structured activities like arts and crafts, reading, and coloring to support cognitive and fine motor development. After a nutritious lunch, children have quiet time to rest, followed by music and movement sessions that encourage physical activity and self-expression. In the afternoon, children enjoy a healthy snack and engage in outdoor play (weather permitting) or indoor enrichment like story time, puzzles, and games. We end the day with calm activities and cleanup to help children transition smoothly before pickup. Our routine is thoughtfully balanced to support every child’s emotional, physical, and academic development.
