Welcome to Heritage Oaks Playhouse, a licensed, home-based daycare located in the heart of the Heritage Oaks neighborhood in Stafford, VA. Just minutes from Park Ridge Elementary School, our location right off Winding Creek Road (SR-628) offers easy access to Shelton Shop Road (SR-648), and Garrisonville Road, making drop-off and pick-up easy for busy families looking for child care or preschool in Stafford County.

Heritage Oaks Playhouse is a Spanish bilingual child care program open year-round, Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm. We welcome infants starting at 3 months, toddlers, and preschoolers up to 5 years old, with both full-time and part-time options available. We also provide flexible drop-in care for occasional child care needs. We are proud to support children with special needs, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD. Daily snacks are included in tuition, and an optional healthy lunch is available for a small additional fee. For your peace of mind, our facility is entirely peanut-free and tree-nut-free.

Hello parents! I'm the owner and lead caregiver at Heritage Oaks Playhouse, and I’m so excited to welcome your family. My journey in early childhood care began at church and at home, where I discovered how much I loved being around children! I really enjoy their curiosity, honesty, and the way they naturally look to adults for guidance. Opening my own daycare allowed me to follow my calling and create a joyful, balanced, and purposeful environment. I genuinely love what I do, and I feel grateful for every child and family who becomes part of our little community. My mission is simple: to provide a safe, nurturing, and enriching space where your child can grow, learn, and thrive.

From the start, my goal has been to build a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children feel seen and heard. As a parent myself, I know how much it means to leave your child with someone you trust. That’s why I’ve invested in the right training and certifications, so every child at Heritage Oaks Playhouse receives care that’s both professional and heartfelt. Teaching and guiding young children feels natural to me. I believe that when we lead with love, patience, and encouragement, we help raise kind and confident little humans. The early years are foundational, and I take pride in helping children build the social, emotional, and learning skills they need for life.

Every day begins with a warm welcome to help each child feel safe and happy. After a healthy breakfast, we gather for circle time: singing, reading stories, and talking about the day of the week and what we’re wearing. Weather permitting, we head outside for fresh air, free play, and visits to our vegetable garden, where children explore nature and learn how plants grow. Back inside, the children dive into imaginative play that builds creativity and teamwork. Pretend play helps them explore real-world scenarios and develop social skills. After a nutritious lunch, we rest during quiet nap time to recharge. In the afternoon, we enjoy arts and crafts that spark creativity and support fine motor skills. After a snack, the day wraps up with outdoor play and free time to relax and connect before families arrive.
