St. Didacus Elementary School is a parochial school located in the northeast section of the San Fernando valley. The school is part of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, under the leadership of Coadjutor Archbishop Jose H. Gomez. St. Didacus was established in 1958; four lay faculty members taught the students in grades one through three. The following year, three Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace joined the staff, and the student body expanded to grade six. In 1961, facilities were in place to accommodate grades one through eight, and an enrollment of 493.Preschool 3 ? Mrs. Dolores HernandezI have been working at St. Didacus School since 1992. My major is in Early Child Development. In 2002 we had the honor of opening our new Preschool for 4 year olds and in 2012 we opened a second Preschool classroom for 3 year olds. It is a joyful experience to work with our St. Didacus Preschoolers.Preschool 4 ? Mrs. Susan BeaulieuI have been working at St. Didacus School for 15 years. I have been teaching Preschool at St. Didacus for 11 years. My major is in Early Child Development. My husband and I have one daughter who attended St. Didacus School, class of 2003, she is currently getting her Master in Biomechanics at the University of Auburn in Alabama.
