As an early childhood professional, I have an important role in guiding young children. I develop nurturing relationships with kids and I anticipate and meet their physical and emotional needs. I listen to the children, and help them find words to match their feelings and desires, and I offer choices, set limits and model respectful behavior. I help kids learn many skills that they'll need to be successful in school and life, and they teach me as well.
