KPC Day School teaches and provides care for children ages three years through kindergarten. In addition, we also serve public school children grades K-5 in a before/afters chool program. We offer a morning preschool program for 3 and 4 year olds which is a structured early childhood program. Preschool classes meet for two (T/Th3 year olds only), three (MWF) or five (M-F) mornings per week. Preschool hours are 9:00 AM12:00 PM with a 15-minute drop-off time before class (8:45 AM12:00 PM). We offer a lunch and storytime from 12 - 1 PM for our preschoolers. In addition, our Kindergarten program meets Monday through Friday with 2 short days and 3 long days (M/F 9:00 AM12:30 PM) (8:45 AM12:45 PM); T/W/TH 9:00 AM3:00 PM (8:45 AM3:15 PM). Along with allowing for more instructional time, this introduction of long days assists in preparing the students for full days of school in the elementary grades. We also offer a childcare program from 7:00 AM until 6:00 PM for children of parents who need full-time care for their children. Extended care is available at an hourly rate for children whose parents desire occasional extended care beyond morning preschool or kindergarten hours. All children enrolled in our full day program attend morning preschool or kindergarten.
