Port Potomac Children's Place is a licensed home-based daycare and preschool in Woodbridge, VA. My child care facility is located in the Port Potomac neighborhood, right off Port Potomac Ave. Your daily commute to work will be convenient since my home has easy access to Jefferson Davis Hwy, Dale Blvd, and the I-95.

About Me:
I’m the owner and a licensed child care provider with 12 years of professional experience. I also hold a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and CPR & First-aid certifications.
Like you, I’m a parent, so I can certainly relate to your challenges when it comes to finding the right fit and best care for your little one. At my daycare, every kid is treated as if they were my own child.
I simply love working with them because they give me happiness, and it’s a very fulfilling job as I get the chance to nurture young minds.
Program:
Port Potomac Children's Place uses an academic curriculum with many fun activities such as dancing, music, etc. In addition to English and upon request, I can also teach your child the Farsi language (however, please note that my daycare is not a bilingual program).
I offer full-time and part-time care for children ages 0 and 5 years old, including children with special needs. I can also accommodate drop-in care, as well as before and after school care for school-age kids up to 12 years old.
I’m open from Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 7:00 pm. I serve snacks to all kids attending my program, and I run a peanut and tree-nut free facility to prevent possible allergies.

She has been an amazing caregiver to my 2 year old. She gives me updates throughout the day and is even so kind to my oldest daughter when she comes with me to pick my little one up.

I was looking for a provider to help with my daughter, who has seizures and requires extra care. Without any hesitation, this caregiver wanted to help, and she took great care of my daughter. I highly recommend her.

I am beyond pleased with the level of care that this provider gives to my daughter. She is caring, kind, and very empathetic. My daughter is so happy from the moment I drop her off in the morning until I pick her up in the afternoon. (Often she wants to stay and play :-).) I am so lucky I found her family daycare!

I cannot say enough great things about this daycare. We were so lucky to find it after a snafu with our original daycare. And I can honestly say this has worked out so much better for us. Always so kind and cheerful. It feels like comimg home. The facility is homey and clean. My daughter is always excited to see this provider. I feel comfortable leaving my daughter there while I'm at work knowing she’s well taken care of. Over all this is the best daycare I could have chosen.

I enrolled both my girls 4yr old and soon to be 2yr to this daycare. We would highly recommend her as she is very caring and loving towards my kids. My kids also get along with other kids that are in daycare and behave very well. She have been wonderful for our daughters . This provider is super sweet and caring. My daughter really struggled in other care facilities but I have seen a huge difference in her behavior since being with this provider. The daycare is pretty new but each time I come in this provider has made an adjustment to better fit the the needs of the children. My daughter never wants to leave.

I love this provider...she is so wonderful with the kids. She's been caring for my babies since they were infants. She always provides and safe and caring environment. She provides a safe and fun place to grown and learn & her kind and gentle nature is far above any commercial day care facilities.

100% recommended for other families who need care for their lovely kids, she is wonderful and provides a loving atmosphere. it will not take your child long to adjust to such a caring environment. she also teaches kids very well and while having many engaging activities planned through out the day. we are so happy to have found the perfect home a way from home for our daughter
