Shazia Home Daycare is a year-round home-based daycare in Falls Church, VA. Our family child care program is run by Shazia Qureshi who has 10 years of child care experience and has a Bachelor's degree. We are open from 7:00am until 5:00pm and care for children as young as 6 weeks through 3 years old. We offer preschool, as well as, both full time and part time child care, including drop in care. Shazia is a wonderful caretaker. Our girls started with her at 9 months. They are always happy to be dropped off and at pickup. She feeds them breakfast and lunch, and they are always engaged and playing when we come in. She gives a report every day with what they ate, what they did, naps, diapers, etc, which is really nice. She is reliable and communicative. The main playroom is on the first floor, well lit and very clean with plenty of toys and mats for play. I spoke with several of her references before we started and they all gave her excellent recommendations. We are happy to have our girls with her!

Shazia cared for my son from the age of 4 months through 1.5 years old. I was very nervous to put my son in daycare but after meeting Shazia I immediately felt at ease. Each day I picked up my son he was happy and well fed. Shazia gave me a daily written report which told me what times his diaper was changed as well at what time he ate (or drank before solids) and what he ate. Shazia introduced Oliver to many healthy and nutrious foods. She even took him to the library down the street when the weather was ncie for story time. Shazia made time each day to tell me about his day and answer any questions I had. Shazia also gave me helpful parenting advice about sleep and transitioning to solids. We were very sad to leave Shazia’s daycare when we moved but we still keep in touch with her.
