Bright Sparkles Family Daycare Center, Hyattsville

Malakai started with Sanita at Bright Sparkles when he was about 1 ½ years old. I was looking to switch from another in-home daycare, when a mommy group I was in recommended Bright Sparkles. I’d visited and interviewed a few other child care centers, but Bright Sparkles strongly stuck out for me. The environment was welcoming and I felt completely comfortable and relaxed leaving Malakai in their care. During his time there, he learned and grew so much. The curriculum was both developmental and comprehensive, but also fun and interactive. It was obvious that Malakai loved Sanita and his time there, it became like a second home for him. Sanita took the time to learn his allergies and dietary restrictions, while still providing healthy food options for him. I really could not have asked for better care for my son. Malaki only left there to start in a Montessori school program that began at PK-3. He has returned a few times for days out of school and also a few times in the summer when I needed someone to care for him. I have recommended Sanita Mitchell’s and Bright Sparkles to friends and will continue to recommend her to anyone looking or a safe and trusted environment for their children.
