Roscoe is a home-based daycare in West Springfield, VA. Our family child care program is run by Edith Ann Roscoe. We currently have two children under Ms. Edie’s care with our eldest daughter having been there since the Summer of 2018 and has come back for her summer program post Kindergarten. While there are a variety of childcare options within the area, finding Ms. Edie to care for our children has truly been a blessing. Not only does she provide her students with a clean, safe learning environment, she also spends time fostering their growth and learning through circle time, music class, field trips, trips to the library, etc.
During our search to find the perfect daycare for my children, we found it a challenge to find providers who truly loved what they do, and Ms. Edie has certainly been an exception. Caring for young children is her calling, and every single day when we walk in the door we are greeted with her positive energy and big smile. It is difficult for parents to find a place/person to leave their children, and it is even more difficult to find somewhere they feel completely comfortable, going about their day knowing that their child(ren) are in the best care possible. We have been fortunate enough to have found that with Edie’s Enrichment Program.

Our daughter spent almost four years at Edie’s Enrichment Program. Ms Edie is the perfect balance of nurture and structure. She challenges the kids to live up to expectations, helps them develop life skills, teaches them to love learning, and cares for their emotional growth. Ms Edie meets each kid where they are. They do a ton of outdoor play and interactive learning.
We can’t say enough good things about Ms Edie and the incredible program that she runs. All of the teachers in our elementary school know “Edie’s kids” because they start school prepared, adjusted and ready to succeed.

Edith Roscoe is an amazing pre-school teacher and care provider. My daughter has been her student for 3 years and will be so well-prepared for kindergarten! The only thing my daughter is sad about in regards to kindergarten is that she won't see her Ms. Edie everyday!
Edith Roscoe takes her students on regular enriching outings and is constantly teaching and engaging with the kids. She is a joy to be around, and I cannot speak highly enough of her. I completely trust her.
