FAZ Creative Education Center was established in 1999 as a creative education center to embrace cultures and promote learning.
The Washington, DC area is a multicultural melting pot, in response, FAZ mixes several curricula, languages and learning styles to create a special blend of student centered teaching.
Using research-based educational practices and methods, FAZ provides reliable, high quality care to your child in a friendly and nurturing setting that embraces diversity in culture and language.

We came across FAZ while looking for a placement for our son for after my mat leave. Our older daughter had been in an in-home daycare that we loved and we wanted a place that had the same loving, homey feeling but with clear focus on development and learning (her daycare didn't have a spot available for our son). FAZ is independent and on the small size, which I liked. Our son is one of 6 babies in the infant room and each older room has class sizes that are also pretty small compared to many other daycare centers. The staff are very sweet and loving and our little guy never cries at drop off and eats and sleeps well. Always come home happy and clean and well-cared for. FAZ also has a great outdoor space which I think is very important for children of any age.
The hours can be tough for working parents--8:30 to 5:30--but so far we're making that work.
