Franklin Commons Intergenerational CDC is a year-round center in Washington, DC. We are open from 7:00am until 7:00pm and care for children as young as 6 weeks through 12 years old, including children with special needs. We offer preschool, as well as, both full time and part time child care, including drop in care. We also have summer camp, as well as before and after school care for children up to 12 years old. We provide meals and offer a peanut free environment. We use a play based and Creative curriculum. At a minimum, our teachers have a Child Development Associate degree. I'm very satisfied with Franklin Commons , the teachers are great and helpful. My child has been attending Franklin Commons since June of 2015 and I see the improvement and her growth .

My son has been attending Franklin Commons CDC since he was 1 and a half. Now he's 4 in elementary school and still attend Franklin Commons CDC during the summer for camp. He has completely fell in love with the staff and children there. They have a loving, caring and welcoming environment. The schedule time is great and convenient which gives me the flexibility with my work. All of the teachers are compassion and care about each individual child. They also have several activity for each holiday and event which keeps the children learning. Franklin Commons CDC has become a second home to us and the staff has become our second family. They encourage my child everyday and help him to create a strong sense of character. The office is always willing to go the extra mile to help me especially because I am a single mother. Franklin Commons CDC has been one of the greatest decisions I have every made for my child.
