About the Founder!
My name is La Shada Ham-Campbell and for more than a decade I have been an educator and principal for more than a ddecade in Atlanta, Ga and Washington, DC. I am also a certified Montessori Toddler Directress and a mother of two. I am passionate about life, children, and education and I have spent the latter part of my professional career creating exemplar early childhood classrooms in public schools. I possess two graduate degrees in education and I am currenlty on hiatus in my pursiut of a doctoral degree in educational psychology with a subspecialty in early childhood education.
I was born, raised, and educated in the Brookland community. Four generations of my family have lived in this community. I have called this neighborhood my home for more than thirty years. When searching for child care for my first son, I found that I was not overjoyed with the options available. My experience fueled my desire to open a quality early learning center. I spent three years planning and working towards opening a program in the community I love and live in.
