Founded in 1949, Sleepy Hollow Preschool (SHPS) is a private, not-for-profit 501(c)3, independent, parent cooperative preschool serving Northern Virginia. Over its 75+ years in operation, SHPS has earned a reputation as an outstanding educational setting for preschool age children. It has received numerous awards for its program and members of its teaching staff. SHPS is non-sectarian and includes children of all abilities. As a cooperative preschool, SHPS involves parents in their children’s first educational experiences. It has created a community of staff and members committed to providing the very best in preschool education to children, ages 2 - 5.
