Hello and welcome to our marvelous La Petite Academy educational daycare in Ashburn, VA! My name is Deena and I am the Academy Director of our fantastic school. I have a bachelor' s degree in early childhood education/elementary education and bring more than 15 years of experience as an educator and over five years as a manager to my position. In addition to providing superior local infant care, our preschool program offers the best early education in the Ashburn community. As a former teacher, I wouldn't be here if I didn't believe in our educational programs, which turn our children into lifelong learners in a warm and nurturing atmosphere. I enjoy interacting with my families and seeing the children grow and develop here at our school. Through the personal relationships I have established with our parents and children, I truly feel like an extension of their families. Every day here at La Petite Ashburn is a rewarding one. My hard work is paid off by seeing the accomplishments and successes of our children, as well as the happy looks on our parent's faces. My staff and I are educators because we want to be, and La Petite is the place we want to be. We all participate in ongoing training to further our skills, and more than half of our staff have college degrees. Our classrooms are spacious, clean and decorated by the children to bring a feeling of home into the classroom. We encourage parents' involvement, and our staff maintains a very close relationship with all families.
