Shehla Baig's MiMi Daycare is a year-round home-based daycare in Silver Spring, MD. Our family child care program is run by Shehla Baig who has 22 years of child care experience and has a Bachelor's degree. We are open from 7:00am until 6:00pm and care for children as young as 6 weeks through 12 years old. We offer preschool, as well as, both full time and part time child care, including drop in care. We also have before and after school care for children up to 12 years old. We provide snacks and lunch bunch and offer a peanut and tree-nut free environment. We use a play based curriculum. We found it to be a warm and caring environment for both our daughters when they were ages 3-18 months. The owner and her team were responsive to our bottle feeding plan and had no problem adjusting as the plan changed over the months. The girls absolutely loved their caregivers there. The schedule was very much based on free play and going outside as much as possible, which we liked. We would recommend the daycare!

This provider and her family are wonderful! We would still be there if it wasn't that we moved to Florida. We started there when my 10 1/2 y.o. Was 9 months old. They treat the children like family. They treated my family like we were one of their family. Couldn't have asked for better providers!

This caregiver provides a nurturing environment for all kids. She is kind, patient and careful with the kids. My children attended her daycare for four years. The kids made lasting friendships and developed well socially and emotionally. We still visit!
