Runa Family Daycare is a year-round home-based daycare in Silver Spring, MD. Our family child care program is run by Etsegenet Abera who has 10 years of child care experience and has an Associate's degree. We are open from 7:30am until 5:30pm and care for children as young as 3 months through 12 years old, including children with special needs. We offer preschool, as well as, both full time and part time child care, including drop in care. We also have before and after school care for children up to 12 years old. We have had a great experience with this provider! I always feel great leaving my son there for the day because I know he has a great time, is safe, and has rewarding and engaging experiences with the provider and other kids.

My husband and I have loved having this provider as our son's daycare provider. She is very patient and attentive to all of his needs. Our son is completely comfortable with her and she cares for him as if he were her own child. She has gone out of her way to provide exceptional care and we anticipate placing our infant son in her care as well once he gets a little older.

This provider is a warm and loving caretaker! We are very happy that our son spends his days with her, if he cannot be with us. She keeps good communication as well.

I highly recommend this daycare. She is great with my son. He loves going there every day and is very comfortable with the provider and the other children. She’s very nice, has great communication with parents, and even sends me pictures of my son once in a while. I’m so glad we found this daycare!

This daycare provider is amazing. She is so wonderful, kind, warm and I could not be happier. I am so comfortable with knowing Caleb's care is in her hands. I felt a great connection with her immediately and I am so glad she is watching over my child. Recommend her x1000!
