RDCA Sargent Shriver Child Development Center is a year-round center in Silver Spring, MD. We are open from 7:00am until 6:30pm and care for children as young as 2 years through 5 years old, including children with special needs. We offer preschool, as well as, both full time and part time child care. We also have summer camp. We provide meals. We use a play based curriculum. Both of my sons attended the preschool classroom and have graduated to the school ager summer camp program. I have had a child at the center since 2011. Both of my sons learned a lot of skills and concepts that prepared them for kindergarten. They always enjoyed their time in class. The teachers are caring, patient and good teachers. My daughter started here at 18 months and is now 3. She has grown a lot emotionally and learned a lot about the world around her. My husband and I are very pleased, and the teachers always treat our daughter with respect and love, and she loves them!

My son is 4 yr old and going to this day care for the last two years. They take good care of kids and provide healthy snacks and fresh fruits. He is learning his ABC and numbers very well.
