Welcome to Bright Future Early Learning Center, Washington DC.
We are privately owned learning center offering a warm welcome to all our children and their families. Programs at Bright Future Early Learning Center follow our Readiness Pathway, designed to address the specific needs of children based on age and individual pace of development. We embrace this natural curiosity and enthusiasm for life with a creative curriculum based around learning through play.
Bringing your child to our Daycare is like being welcomed into a big, extended family. We do our utmost to create a friendly, home from home atmosphere and provide a warm, caring, safe environment where children can grow, learn, explore and have plenty of fun. Our children enjoy a unique, stimulating and education-led experience and are valued and encouraged to develop their own personalities and to acquire the knowledge and skills they will need when they enter the next stage of their formal learning.
Every child is treated as an individual and encouraged to learn at his or her own pace. The warm, friendly environment allows children to develop self-confidence and independence as they begin their social development. Through both child-led play and adult-led activities, your child will build positive relationships with nursery staff and learn to play alongside and make friends with other children.
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage, which is made up of six overlapping areas of learning and development:
• Personal, Social and Emotional Development
• Communication, Language and Literacy
• Problem Solving, Reasoning and Numeracy
• Knowledge and Understanding of the World
• Physical Development
• Creative Development
We believe education is not a one-size-fits-all experience. The Learning center Readiness Pathway empowers you with educational options to create the most fitting path for your child.
Teachers & Classrooms
Our staff are dedicated to providing opportunities for creative play that will nurture your child’s physical, social and emotional development.
Children develop through exploring the world around them and that’s why the emphasis at Bright Future Early Learning Center is on fun learning through play. Our learning center layout, staffing and activity planning are structured around the different needs of babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers.
Bright Future Early Learning Center is run by appropriately qualified Managers and Director, all with substantial experience in child care and nursery organization. Qualified staff and experienced nursery assistants look after small groups of children, each group having a schedule to aid development and ensure each child is happy enjoying varied activities throughout the day.
Each child is assigned a key worker who is responsible for the emotional wellbeing and development of a small group of children. This system allows the key worker to understand your child’s individual needs, build a special relationship with them and give them a sense of security. Your key worker will provide daily feedback – such as activities, nappy changes, naps and food eaten as well as regular updates on your child’s progress.
The experienced childcare staff are all qualified to state level or above. They participate in a rigorous induction programme and have regular appraisals.
We will also be offering extra opportunities – at no additional cost – to promote your child’s development, including dance, tennis and an introduction to Spanish.
At our Center, we offer exceptional care, great facilities and a nurturing, home-from-home environment with beautiful play rooms. We use a combination of creative play and formal teaching techniques to look after our children’s well-being. We place great emphasis on encouraging children to use their imagination, develop their social skills and a sense of community, helping them to grow in confidence and independence in readiness for the next big step in their lives.
As a parent, knowing that your child is being looked after by caring, professional staff in a comfortable, enjoyable environment will give you peace of mind and the confidence and assurance to get on with your everyday life.
