Uzma Sheikh Family Child Care is a year-round home-based daycare in Wilmette, IL. Our family child care program is run by Uzma Sheikh who has 20 years of child care experience. We are open from 7:30am until 5:30pm and care for children as young as 0 week through 8 years old, including children with special needs. We offer preschool, as well as, both full time and part time child care, including drop in care. We also have summer camp, as well as before and after school care for children up to 8 years old. We provide meals and offer a peanut and tree-nut free environment. Uzma Sheikh Family Child Care is a language immersion program that offers English, Urdu and Spanish. Mrs. Sheikh - or ‘Teacher’ as we lovingly call her - provides such a warm, caring, fun, safe, and educational environment and home away from home for our daughter. We are so thankful for the exceptional care. Our daughter loves it so much that she doesn’t want to come home at the end of the day! The growth and learning we’ve seen in our daughter even in a short time is so awesome. Highly recommend and am so thankful for Teacher!

I cannot say enough good things about Uzma Sheikh. She is a miracle worker. When I learned that my family member who previously cared for my son would no longer be able to do so, I knew that nothing less than a home care setting would work.
