Prairie Landing English - Chinese Bilingual Montessori Children's Center (PLMCC) is quite aware of the importance of balancing the needs of child, parent, and neighboring community. We are offering a unique English and Chinese Bilingual Montessori curriculum and a twelve-month school calendar in effort to meet family needs since 2004. PLMCC was conceived from Ms. Chang's own experience working at American Montessori School and an American Chinese school for over 15 years. PLMCC is the first and only one English-Chinese Bilingual Montessori Pre-School Program located in North Potomac, Maryland. In a good school, there will be certified Montessori teachers. There will be a full range of Montessori materials. The children will be busy, happy, and kind. Our school will be a second family for your children. You should feel the harmony with a school's ambience and practice. We emphasize the importance of the quality of teacher-child interactions. Teachers are seen as important role models for children. Our American or Chinese teachers are certified Montessori teachers and have 4 years college degree or Master degree in Early Childhood Education field. Teacher's responsibility is to create learning opportunities for our children in an environment of unconditional love, support, and respect. Our goal is to provide a place where we keep our students safe and where learning is fun, with joy. PLMCC welcomes children between the ages of 2 years to 5 years to join us. Also, we provide English – Chinese bilingual summer camp for ages 5 years - 10 years old. Our camp - Shou Chu Summer Camp is located at the Montgomery Public Elementary School in North Potomac area. We hire Montgomery County Public School teachers to provide services for our campers at our Shou Chu Summer Camp.
