Tooney Town Early Learning Center
About us: Tooney Town Early Learning Center offers one of the finest child development programs in the area for children ages 6 weeks - 12 years of age. We are dedicated to the unique needs of our children as well as the needs and demands of today’s working parents. Our professional and nurturing environment is provided by a dedicated staff that possess the best skills and training to provide a warm, supportive and stimulating setting where each and every child is treasured as an individual. We operate our centers based on our 5 core values: integrity, professionalism, communication, friendly and cleanliness. Our Philosophy: Our philosophy of “loving, laughing and learning together” is achieved through developing children emotionally, physically, and socially in the proper environment. Therefore, Tooney Town’s staff is committed to making sure that the children in our center are nurtured in a learning atmosphere. It is our philosophy that children can develop emotionally, physically and socially, if the proper environment is provided. That is why Tooney Town is committed to making sure that your child is in a nurturing educational environment. We believe that “Learning is Fun” and that child care should also be fun, educational, nurturing and provide each family with a sense of security. A warm parent-teacher relationship will give each family worry-free care. Creativity and independence will be encouraged in order for your child to maintain the “joy of childhood”. Tooney Town Early Learning Center understands that parents need a program that fits their personal needs . It is for this reason that we offer various full day and half day programs for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age. With the many enrollment options, it is our goal to meet each family’s needs. Each program includes a unique attendance schedule that is requested by the parent. Parents may choose from 2, 3 and 5 full days as well as 3 and 5 half day schedules at our Owings Mills location. The parent chooses the days that are needed in the part-time programs. In order to properly plan for meal times and activities, we ask that the parent maintain the schedule that is chosen until a full schedule change is needed. Due to the ratios mandated by the Maryland State Department of Education's Office of Child Care, we may not be able to offer care on the days that the child is not scheduled to attend.
