Little Owlets Multi-Lingual Early Learning Center

Little Owlets is an Early Childhood Learning Center where our main goal and focus is to prepare young linguists to be brave explorers by the time... they enter enter Kindergarten. At Little Owlets, we strive to provide safe, high quality child care for the children through cooperative partnership with the parents. It is our goal to provide a nurturing environment filled with trust that meets the intellectual, moral, social, emotional and physical needs of each child. Our educators have over 30 years of combined experience working with little children and continue their ongoing education, keeping up with technology, new innovations and latest early learning research and development. We are CPR and First Aid certified. We immerse the children in various activities that foster their intellectual development and prepare them to be young multi-lingual explorers. Our methodology is focused on the theories of Maria Montessori, Jean Peaget and Lev Vygotski. Our lessons are structured in a "learn by experience" set up and the children are "helpers in everything we do". We teach reading, writing, drawing, art, music, mathematics, social play and physical development and all the learning is reinforced in English and Russian languages. Each day, we spend considerable amount of time playing outdoors in a large, fenced-in yard, which includes a playground and other outdoor equipment. Even on days when the weather does not cooperate, we still enjoy the outdoors by allowing the children to play in the screened-in porch. During the day we provide home prepared organic meals, which include breakfast, lunch and 2 healthy snacks.
