Good Luck Estates Children's Place
About Me Welcome to Good Luck Estates Children's Place, my home daycare in Lanham, MD! I am a mother of 2 and I have 8 years of child care experience. I hold a Child Development Associate's Degree in Early Education and I am also a CPR and first-aid certified. My mission is to provide quality child care for all families in the community in a warm, nurturing, loving and educational environment. Program My daycare is open between 6:30 am and 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. I care for infants as young as 2 weeks, and for toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old. I also provide before and after school care for school-age children up to 13 years old. My family child care program offers various flexible options to accommodate working families (full-time daycare, part-time daycare, etc.). Peanut free and tree-nut free snacks and lunch bunch are included in the tuition (I participate in the USDA food program). Curriculum My home daycare’s curriculum enables each child to develop new skills at their own ability levels, to prepare each child to succeed in kindergarten and to provide a safe, healthy environment for the children so their parents can obtain peace of mind about their child’s care. I also offer a variety of activities in a friendly and supportive environment through Play-based approach. Child Care Goals • To provide high quality, developmentally appropriate child care for preschool children with focus on the individual child’s age and ability to stimulate social, cognitive, physical and emotional growth. • To provide a safe, nurturing and recreational environment for school age children while their parents work or attend school. • To provide opportunities for families to be involved with their children’s education and have access to parenting support and education. Location Good Luck Estates Children's Place is located off Good Luck Rd, with easy access to the I-495 and the Baltimore Washington Parkway. My home daycare is near the Robert Frost Elementary School and the Lamont Elementary School. Please send an email to learn more and schedule a time to meet. I would love to meet you and your family!
Edgewood Children's Playhouse
About Me: Hi, parents! Welcome to Edgewood Children's Playhouse, my home-based daycare and preschool in College Park, MD! I’m the owner and main caregiver and I have 15 years of experience in child care and early childhood education. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and I’m CPR and First-aid certified. I’m also a MAT trained so if needed, I can administer medication to all children in my care. I love kids! Before opening my own daycare, I used to take care of my friends' and relatives’ children. As a mother of 3 myself, I can relate to your concerns when it comes to finding a safe and loving “second home” for your little one. At my daycare, you can be sure that your little one is secure and will be filled with joy and happiness! Program: My program follows the Play-based learning approach and daily activities include Story Time as well as Arts & Crafts. In addition to English, I speak Bengali and upon your request, I can expose your child to this foreign language. I’m also planning on hiring a Spanish-speaking teacher who can teach the Spanish language everyday (however, my daycare is not a bilingual program). My family child care and preschool program is open year round from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. I offer full-time and part-time care for infants, toddlers and preschoolers between the ages of 4 weeks and 5 years old. I also offer before and after school care for older kids, up to 6 years old (I’m near Hollywood Elementary School and close to Springhill Lake Elementary School). Location: Edgewood Children's Playhouse is located off Edgewood Rd, in the Hollywood community of College Park, MD (near the Hollywood Elementary School and Hollywood Shopping Center). My home is centrally located since I'm right off Baltimore Ave (route 1) and just a few minutes away from the I-95, I- 495, Greenbelt Rd (route 193) and Baltimore-Washington Pkwy. Please send an email or call to book a tour, I’d like to meet you and your little one!
