Ms. Patty appeared to be a wonderful daycare provider until I told her I needed to switch daycares to a center with longer hours to accommodate my job. I gave her 3 weeks’ notice and paid her in full for all three weeks. As soon as I gave my notice everything changed. Three days in a row she told me my son would not eat anything all day but as soon as he got in the car he told me repeatedly that he was really hungry and proceeded to go home and inhale food and chug water. Ms. Patty made me come pick up my son early because he was really whiny and only wanted to lay down. She referred to him as being sick even though he did not have a fever or any symptoms except for a runny nose. Note that my son has a letter from the doctor stating he has allergies and is on daily medication for it. She asked me to get him before her zoom call at 1:30 that she was taking during the time that daycare was in session. She also told me that even though he took his nap at 11-12 he would be forced to lay down until 3pm when naptime was officially over. I picked him up, took him home and fed him and as soon as he ate an entire bowl of oatmeal and drank a full glass of water (once again I was told he was not hungry) he was bouncing around the house happy, singing and dancing. The next day I informed her that he would be starting his new daycare early and she responded with "she was over all of his sickness and he had been sick since she has known him." I was amazed and shocked at how nasty and hateful this woman became towards my child after I gave my notice.

Both of my children have been in the care of Patricia Brown since they were eight weeks old. My daughter is now in first grade and runs to hug her every time we pick up my son. My son is four and is in his last full year before starting kindergarten. Patricia has become such a huge part of our family that I can’t imagine our lives without her. A family should feel extremely lucky to secure a spot with Patricia’s child care. She will provide a structured environment and set clear expectations for all children. She will teach your child academic lessons and life lessons, but above all, she will love your child and your child will love her!
