Stephens Daycare provides a safe, loving environment for children. We accept children from four weeks to 3 years of age. We play developmentally appropriate games, teach ABCs and 123s, and supply nutritious meals. We are open from 7am to 6:00pm. Each child receives loving care and attention at Stephens Day Care. Your child will love our large collection of toys and games. We even have an outdoor playground. Mommies and Daddies feel secure leaving their children at Stephens Daycare. About StephensDaycare We have been caring for children for over 40 years. We are certified in CPR and have also completed the state nutrition guidelines training and state licensing orientation program. I am Mamie Stephens the owner of Stephens Daycare, I have had three children of my own. My daughter Sharon, is my assistant. Stephens Daycare was opened because of our love for children. We promise to nurture your child as if he or she was our own. Our Philosophy: I believe that all children deserve love, attention, and nurturing. I believe that a safe environment allows children to explore and grow. At StephensDaycare, we allow children to have hands-on learning experiences. This fosters age appropriate development. We read to the children everyday. We believe that positive reinforcement is important for children to develop self-esteem. Children need an environment that supports free expression and stimulates learning. Most importantly, however, I believe that children need to have fun! At Stephens Daycare, we play lots of exciting games. Children learn best from experiencing the world around them. At StephensDaycare we recognize that you have a difficult schedule and support parents the best we can. We offer early drop-off and late pick-up so that your schedule can be accommodated. We recognize the importance of work, and the stress and demands placed on parents. We strive to make it easier on parents by giving them the knowledge that their children are in good hands.
