Welcome! My name is Terri Fields and I am the Director at the Childtime educational daycare in Clifton, VA. I have been the director at this center since 2009 and I have 20 years experience in early childhood education. I have my Childhood Development Certification and I am currently pursuing my associate's degree in early childhood education. Drawing from this experience and education, I can confidently say that Childtime offers the best infant daycare and preschool in Clifton. I love my Childtime family and look forward to spending time with each and every person here. We have fun - we laugh, we learn and best of all, we are loved as well as we are loving. The teachers at my center are amazing people that love to be around children. They are patient, caring and love to teach. There are several teachers who have been here since 2008. Some of the teachers have received their CDA while others are still pursuing theirs. Our Childtime is located in Clifton, Virginia close to Centreville High School. We are surrounded by the quaint community of Little Rocky Run. When you walk into my center, you feel like you are walking into your own home. You will feel welcomed and comfortable. We believe the children need to be in a learning environment that is age appropriate and comfortable. We are all most comfortable at home so we strive to create a space that will be a “home away from home”. The classrooms and hallway have wood floors with cream colored walls. You will see area carpets, natural colored shelves, tables and chairs, baskets, plants and even full size love seats. Within this decor, the children's artwork and activities are displayed in what we call “Documentation of Learning”. Families and visitors can browse the classrooms to see exactly what activities are taking place, what objectives we are working on and see actual photos of the children during the activities.
