Honey Bee Family Childcare is a year-round home-based daycare in Columbia, MD. Our family child care program is run by Madelyn Carr who has 10 years of child care experience. We are open from 8:00am until 5:30pm and care for children as young as 6 weeks through 5 years old, including children with special needs. We offer preschool, as well as, both full time and part time child care, including drop in care. We provide meals. At a minimum, our teachers have a Bachelor's degree. Madelyn is great with the children and they tend to be ahead of their peers. Very little TV time and lots of teaching, playing and outdoors time, makes Honeybee Daycare a great place to bee.

Madelyn has provided excellent care for our son over the past 2 years, far superior to that which we previouly experienced at one of the large centers. She and her assistants are very trustworthy and very good with children. Our son enjoys attendng her daycare facility. My wife and I would definitely recommend Honeybee Family Childcare to others.

I really love sending my daughter to madelyn. Madelyn is always open and willing to work with us on the things that we do that are not the norm (cloth diapers, extended BF'ing, and even my daughter's eczema food issues, just to name a few!). I really feel like we are working in partnership for my daughter and I'm grateful for that.

Madelyn knows how to bring out a kid's talents. She shows a lot of love and firmness, with age appropriate learning and cultivatiin. She's like a third parent.
