Thank you for visiting La Petite educational daycare in Columbia, MD! My name is Jennifer Thompson and I am the Director of this amazing school. I have an associates degree in early childhood education and over 25 years of experience in early childhood education. I have enjoyed working many of the positions in this industry from Assistant Teacher to Program Director and thrive on the experience of watching children grow and learn in an educational and nurturing environment. The most amazing part of my job is developing relationships and interacting with families on a daily basis. Whether it's providing loving care for infants or participating in activities in our preschool programs, I love to see the children's sense of accomplishment as they grow and mature into lifelong learners. Our school is both safe and fun thanks in large part to our very qualified teachers here in Columbia. The capable staff here at La Petite Eden Brook have taken classes in first aid and child development, with many possessing bachelor and masters degrees. We work together to ensure that the care provided for children and parents is the same level of care that we would want for ourselves and our families. We encourage parent involvement in activities and value the one on one interactions we get to have everyday. Here at Eden Brook we develop minds as well as relationships.
