I am a trained teacher from the island of Jamaica, with many years of teaching experience. I am a graduate of St. Joseph's Teachers College and the University of Maryland University College. I also have hundreds of hours of specialized training in early childhood development through workshops and seminars. I have been providing child care services since 1997. I have been a director of my own Childcare center and later moved into a family childcare setting. I am certified in CPR and First Aid and have been awarded the Maryland Childcare Credential at level 6 the highest level that is given by the state of Maryland. I have acquired a 5 check level in the Maryland Excels. A volunteer quality rating and improvement system. Maryland EXCELS awards ratings through five progressive check levels that define a pathway to excellence. I have excellent references and with my training and experiences I can offer your child a wonderful and positive learning environment. This is a place you want your child to be.
