It is important to me to provide a fun; loving (just like home) environment for your child so he/she will look forward to coming to my home everyday and you will feel comfortable about leaving your child in my care. My goal as a daycare provider is to love and nurture your child so they will feel secure in my care. To provide him/her with my time, attention, trust and respect. I want for your child what I wanted for my children, to grow up with values, socially accepted behavior, self confidence, independence, self control and last but not least responsibility for themselves as well as others. While I am not a teacher, I will work with your child to develop his/her cognitive, physical, verbal, emotional and social skills. Our days consist of, but not necessarily in this order, free play, dancing and singing to kid songs, coloring, play doh, building blocks, crafts, pretend play and puzzles. I will use educational programs to help them learn and develop skills. I have a supply of reading materials for all ages and I read to them everyday. They will go outside everyday, weather permitting in my fenced in backyard and in the summer they will have lots of water play.
